dolessons Tutor Code of Conduct

Tutors must maintain the highest level of honesty, respect, and professionalism in every interaction.

You must communicate clearly, on time, and courteously with students and dolessons staff.

Tutors must honor confirmed bookings, start sessions promptly, and avoid cancellations without valid reasons or notice.

Tutors are representatives of dolessons’ educational brand and must act accordingly in language, tone, and online and offline behavior when engaging through the platform.

Tutors must not complete assignments, exams, tests, essays, or assessments on behalf of students.

Assistance must focus on explanation, skill-building, and guidance, not doing the work for learners.

Tutors must avoid any activity that promotes plagiarism, cheating, or academic dishonesty.

Violating academic integrity rules will result in immediate suspension or termination from dolessons and forfeiture of pending payouts.

Tutors must deliver accurate, high-quality, and curriculum-relevant content that aligns with the learning goals communicated by the student or guardian.

Lessons must be well-prepared, structured, and tailored to the student’s needs.

Tutors must use appropriate teaching materials, avoiding copyrighted or unauthorized third-party content unless permitted for educational use.

dolessons reserves the right to review lessons or communications for quality assurance and to ensure compliance with this Code.

Tutors must communicate only through approved dolessons channels unless expressly permitted in writing.

Soliciting or accepting payments outside dolessons is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate account suspension.

Tutors must not share personal contact information (phone number, email, or social media handles) with students before a confirmed booking or outside the platform.

Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior in any form will lead to permanent removal from the platform.

Tutors must treat all student information as confidential and use it solely for the purpose of providing tutoring services.

Sharing, selling, or misusing student data (including names, emails, or academic information) violates dolessons’ Data Policy and may result in legal action.

Tutors must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in their jurisdiction.

Tutors must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Repeated short-notice cancellations, lateness, or missed sessions may result in reduced platform visibility, temporary suspension, or account deactivation.

dolessons reserves the right to reassign students or withhold payouts for sessions missed without a valid reason.

Tutors earn 65% of the total booking amount for each confirmed and completed session.

dolessons retains 35% as a service fee for platform operations, marketing, maintenance, and other costs.

Payouts will be processed within 7 business days after session completion, subject to dispute resolution, quality checks, or fraud prevention reviews.

Tutors must provide accurate bank or payment details. dolessons is not liable for payout delays caused by incorrect or incomplete tutor information.

Violations of this Code may result in account warnings, temporary suspension, forfeiture of earnings, or permanent removal from the dolessons platform.

dolessons reserves the right to withhold payouts or terminate access where misconduct, poor quality, or fraudulent behavior is detected.

dolessons may periodically review tutor performance metrics, student feedback, and content quality to maintain platform standards.

Tutors are strictly prohibited from receiving, requesting, or negotiating direct payments from dolessons clients for any tutoring service, consultation, or follow-up engagement.

Tutors must not circumvent dolessons by taking a client off the platform or continuing sessions privately outside dolessons’ knowledge or billing system.

Tutors must immediately inform dolessons of any further engagement or lesson that a dolessons client proposes, even if such engagement is unrelated to the initial booking.

Tutors must not conduct any class or tutoring activity with a dolessons client without first notifying and obtaining approval from dolessons.

Tutors are not permitted to discuss pricing, payment terms, or agreements directly with dolessons clients. All financial discussions and arrangements must occur through dolessons.

Any violation of this clause constitutes a serious breach of dolessons policy and will result in:

Permanent blacklisting from the platform;

Immediate forfeiture of all earnings, including pending payouts; and

Possible legal action for damages or loss of business.

dolessons may modify this Tutor Code of Conduct from time to time. Notice will be provided via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Code.

By activating your Tutor profile, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Tutor Code of Conduct and all related dolessons policies.
